FARRELL, Pa. – Sharon Regional Medical Center patients who are seeking new health care providers and specialists after the closure of the hospital can use a new UPMC Care Continuation Hotline for Mercer County.
Launched by UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson, the hotline gives those in Mercer County and the surrounding area the opportunity to transition their care or to find a new provider or service to address their health care needs.
“The dedicated physicians and staff at UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson are here to care for our community,” said Zachary Lenhart, vice president of operations for UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson. “At UPMC, we examine, prioritize and respond to ensure our community has the care and services it needs.”
The hotline is available for those who need a new primary care provider or specialist, those who need lab and imaging services, and those who need to reschedule a surgery. A team of scheduling specialists will connect patients with the care they need.
The hotline number is 724 994 4747 and is available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
