FARRELL, Pa. – UPMC Horizon will host an in-person hiring event Wednesday for career opportunities at both the Shenango Valley and Greenville facilities, as well as UPMC Jameson in New Castle.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at UPMC Horizon – Shenango Valley, 2200 Memorial Drive.
On-site interviews and opportunities for same-day job offers are possible at the hiring event, as well as eligibility for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 and UPMC total rewards packages.
Current UPMC employees will be in attendance to speak with job seekers. Resume assistance will be offered, and members of the human resources team will be available to review resumes.
With Sharon Regional Medical Center’s future murky, the event could help transition employees from that facility. Due to Steward Health Care System’s bankruptcy, the Sharon hospital is slated to close Monday unless a deal is finalized with another company.
