YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – For the second consecutive year, an Ursuline High School senior has earned a perfect score on the ACT exam.
Evan Brockway earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36 on the exam taken in March. Only about one-quarter of 1% of all test takers earn the top score. Among U.S. high school graduates in the class of 2024, only 3,041 out of more than 1.37 million students who took the ACT earned a composite score of 36.
Brockway has been named an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction and has earned the AP Capstone Diploma. He also has been recognized as a National Merit Scholar.
Brockway plays in the marching and concert bands, competes in quiz bowl competitions and has qualified for state and national speech and debate competitions. He is a member of Students of Stewardship and serves as a house chaplain in the Ursuline House System.
