YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – OktoberVines beer and wine tasting, a new fundraiser for the Ursuline Sisters Mission, will take place from 6-10 p.m. Oct. 17 at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave.

The evening will feature beer and wine tastings, dinner, raffles, live music from The Cugines and more, with proceeds going to the Ursuline Sisters Mission and its ministries.

Tickets are available HERE.

OktoberVines blends two beloved Ursuline Sisters fundraisers from the past – the wine tasting events that supported Beatitude House and the beer tasting events that sustained the Ursuline Sisters HIV/AIDS Ministry.

By bringing these fundraisers together, Ursuline Sisters Mission is launching a new signature event that reflects its mission of serving vulnerable adults and children.

The event will feature wine and beer tastings by a variety of distributors, a wine pull, a variety of unique baskets, experiences and products, as well as silent auction items donated by local businesses and community partners.

To donate an auction item or secure a sponsorship opportunity, contact Sheila Donnadio, USM development director, at 330 793 0434, ext. 358, or sdonnadio@ursulinesistersmission.org, by Friday.

“The event will support the many ministries of Ursuline Sisters Mission, including housing for the homeless, education programs for adults, food pantries and enrichment opportunities for children living in poverty,” said Sister Patricia McNicholas, donor relations director for Ursuline Sisters Mission.

The organization is a gospel service of the Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown. To learn more, go to UrsulineSistersMission.org.
