VIENNA, Ohio – Construction activity across the Mahoning and Shenango valleys remains strong, with union contractor man hours running about 15% ahead of the same point last fiscal year, according to Kevin Reilly, executive vice president of the Builders Association of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Reilly says major projects such as Kimberly-Clark, along with smaller commercial, health care and manufacturing jobs, continue to support the region’s construction industry while highlighting the capabilities of local contractors and skilled tradespeople.
