VanTrust Real Estate, DSV Break Ground on Industrial Building
COLUMBUS, Ohio – VanTrust Real Estate LLC, a commercial real estate developer, and principals from DSV, a Denmark-based global leader in the transport and logistics industry, broke ground Tuesday on a new industrial building at New Albany Tech Park.
When completed around December 2024, the 1.2 million-square-foot building will be DSV’s largest structure in North America. DSV will serve as a supplier for Intel, which is building a $20 billion semiconductor campus in New Albany.
“This is an exciting project and an important day for VanTrust, DSV and the central Ohio community,” said Andy Weeks, executive vice president at VanTrust. “We are proud that a logistics leader like DSV selected VanTrust for this important project and know that it will be a huge asset to the entire region.”
VanTrust announced plans for a new business park, New Albany Tech Park, in June 2022. The park sits on approximately 500 acres within the New Albany International Business Park, the region’s largest master-planned business park. The build-to-suit DSV warehouse is the first of multiple projects anticipated at New Albany Tech Park.
