YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mark Vopat, distinguished professor of philosophy at Youngstown State University, has been elected to the Society for Ethics Across the Curriculum Executive Committee.
SEAC aims to stimulate scholarship on ethics and the teaching of ethics in all academic disciplines and to afford an opportunity for the exchange of research and resources.
Vopat has been a member of SEAC for at least 15 years and has presented papers at the annual conference. He has published articles in the society’s journal, “Teaching Ethics,” and served as co-editor from 2015-2020.
