SHARON, Pennsylvania — Warehouse Sales will mark 75 years in business with a customer appreciation concert and celebration Sunday at its downtown Sharon store.
The Rockin’ on the Rails event will run from 3 to 9 p.m. Sept. 6 in the outdoor event space behind Warehouse Sales, 200 W. Silver St. Country artist Chris Higbee will headline the concert, with Brave Astronauts and Juvenile Characteristics serving as opening acts.
The event is part of a yearlong celebration of Warehouse Sales, which opened in 1951.
“We’ve had a couple of big anniversaries the past two years,” said Mike Lisac, who owns the business with his wife, Sonja. The couple marked 25 years of ownership in 2025.
“We really appreciate our customers that have helped Warehouse Sales remain successfully in business for this long and wanted to do something special to celebrate with them,” he said.
The Sept. 6 event also will include food trucks and other vendors. Lisac said area businesses expected to participate include Quaker Steak & Lube, Haitian Sensation, Sips & Spurs and Allie’s Sweet Tooth. St. John’s Episcopal Church also will sell kettle corn.
Warehouse Sales will give away 10 prizes during the celebration, including a Coleman EV CGC3 golf cart valued at $9,999. Other prizes include a fire pit, mini refrigerator, American flag kit, 55-inch television, grill and Shop-Vac.
Customers can receive an entry for the giveaways with a purchase of at least $10. Those 18 and older who attend the concert also will receive a free entry.
The event also will feature new interactive murals created by artists from the Hope Center for Arts & Technology, or HopeCAT. The murals were created for Warehouse Sales’ anniversary and will be unveiled during the celebration.
“I know lots of businesses struggle to get to five years, so I don’t take it for granted,” Lisac said. “The community has kept Warehouse Sales in business for this long, and with their help, we hope to be in business for another 25 years and more.”
