SHARON, Pa. – Warehouse Sales this year will celebrate its 25th anniversary under the ownership of Mike Lisac with sales, giveaways, contests and a customer appreciation concert.

“We really appreciate our customers that have helped us remain in business for 25 years,” says Lisac, who took ownership of the 74-year-old hardware store at 220 Silver St. in Sharon, Pa., in 2000. “We are working on plans to celebrate this special anniversary with our customers all year long.”

Mike Lisac holds a customer loyalty card.

The concert will feature country music artist Chris Higbee as the headliner and will take place this summer on the Warehouse Sales property in downtown Sharon. The date has not been set.

“I’m a big fan of supporting local with events like these,” Lisac says. He will invite Sharon restaurants, including Quaker Steak & Lube, Haitian Sensation, The Block and Allie’s Sweet Tooth, to set up booths at the event.

“We’ll also be doing monthly gift card giveaways in the amount of $25 to celebrate our 25 years,” Lisac says. “We couldn’t be in business without our customers. So, we are always looking for ways to show appreciation.”

Lisac is also the landlord for seven businesses on East State Street in Sharon. Among his tenants are Allie’s Sweet Tooth, which includes pop-up Jess Makes Scents; Firebean Espresso, ICG Hobbies & Games, Telestars, Tip Tap Toe Dance Studio, Unwind Day Spa, and The Wandering Soul: Books, Gifts & Furniture.

The company recently started a loyalty program with the retail businesses in the Lisac Properties family. Customers will receive a card when they make a purchase at any of the retail locations. The card is punched very time the holder makes a purchase at one of the other businesses. After four punches, the holder can give the card to any of the businesses to participate in a drawing for a $25 gift card.

The next drawing is for a gift card to Unwind Day Spa. The winner will be drawn just before Valentine’s Day.

Lisac hopes to expand the program later this year to include more businesses. “But right now we are supporting the businesses that are part of our ‘family.’ Running a business on your own can be challenging. So, we decided to create a program to work together to help support each other and encourage customers to shop locally,” he says.
