WARREN, Ohio – The Hometown Holidays parade and events will take place from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, on Courthouse Square.
The parade will start at 5 p.m., with the route circling Courthouse Square. The tree lighting will take place at 5:30 p.m.
Santa Claus will be at the log cabin starting at 5:30 p.m.
The Harding High School Madrigals will perform from 5:45-6:15 p.m. at the gazebo, with the Senior Showcase troupe performing from 6:30-6:50 p.m.
The Warren Public Library will present Candy Land Lane from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Ongoing events around Courthouse Square that day will include carriage rides, children’s movie characters, a holiday market inside the Brite building, letter for Santa at the First Presbyterian Church, ice sculpting and ornament making at the Kinsman House
A children’s market and wrapping station will take place at Fatty Cakes Soaps, 239 Main Ave., from 2-6 p.m.
There will also be cookie decorating at Game Changers, 125 W. Market St., and a holiday night market at Modern Methods Brewing.
