YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Wayne Mackey, founder and CEO of Statespace, will join this year’s Youngstown Business Incubator Shark Tank pitch competition as one of the event’s featured “sharks.”
Mackey said he’s excited to return to the kind of early-stage startup environment that helped shape his own journey as a first-time founder.
“It’s an honor,” Mackey said. “I went through programs like this, pitch competitions and stuff, and it was such an amazing learning and educational experience. I was always so grateful for the feedback and for the time that people would take to kind of listen to the idea and give kind of honest, candid feedback about things. So I feel like I get to pay it forward.”
