YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Steel Valley Postal Customer Council will host a webinar at 11 a.m. June 4 to provide mailers, businesses, nonprofit organizations and industry professionals with an overview of the proposed U.S. Postal Service pricing changes for market-dominant products.
The free webinar, titled Overview of Proposed Price Changes 2026, will feature Karen Meehan, USPS director of mailing and services pricing. Meehan and her team oversee pricing for all market-dominant postal products, including first-class mail, USPS marketing mail, periodicals, package services and other special services.
Meehan has more than 35 years of Postal Service experience. During her career, she has led competitive products pricing, international products pricing and cost attribution initiatives for the USPS. She has a master’s degree in economics from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Georgia Tech.
The webinar will provide insights into:
- Proposed July 2026 USPS price changes pending approval by the Postal Regulatory Commission.
- Updates to pricing structures that could impact mailing budgets and planning.
- Postal promotions and mailing strategies for 2026.
- Key considerations for businesses and organizations using direct mail and postal marketing.
