NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster College is teaming up with Pennsylvania CareerLink to present its third annual interactive workshop for high school juniors and seniors, “Beyond Graduation: Exploring Your Path Forward.”
The event will be held from 5-7 p.m. March 31 in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center on Westminster’s campus.
Building on the success of previous workshops, this year’s event again will offer practical guidance, real-world perspectives and direct access to helpful resources for students preparing for life after high school.
Participants will gain insight into a wide range of post-graduation possibilities while reflecting on their own interests, goals and readiness for next steps. Throughout the evening, students will:
- Connect with local young adults and hear how they launched their careers.
- Learn about multiple pathways, including four-year colleges, community colleges, trade and technical schools, military service, law enforcement, entrepreneurship, service programs and workforce training.
- Discover internship and work experience opportunities available through CareerLink.
- Identify personal strategies for moving confidently into their next chapter.
A featured panel of young professionals representing diverse industries will share stories about their journeys and answer student questions during an interactive question-and-answer session.
Check-in will begin at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided, and attendees will receive a $25 gift card in appreciation of their participation. An informal networking session will take place from 7-7:30 p.m.
The workshop is free and open to high school juniors and seniors. Registration is required by March 23. To register, click HERE.
