NEW CASTLE, Pa. – In her 30-plus years with the Lawrence County Regional Chamber and Economic Alliance, Diane Lynn Richardson’s grant-writing and loan packaging skills have contributed mightily to the Lawrence County economy.
Richardson, assistant director of economic development, has been directly involved in the creation of grant applications providing more than $90 million in public investment and matched by over $60 million in private investment. During her career, Richardson and the LCEDC have assisted with the development of seven Lawrence County business parks that now generate over $1.4 million in annual tax revenues.
Richardson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history from Mansfield University, a Paralegal Certificate from Penn State University, an Associate of Arts degree from Butler County Community College and an Economic Development Finance Professional Certificate from the National Development Council. She is also an International Economic Development Council-certified economic developer.
She lives in New Wilmington and enjoys refinishing and upholstering furniture, sewing and stained-glass projects. She has two children, Anna and Parker, and two grandchildren, Stella and Isaac.
