NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Lyndsey Overby, assistant director of chamber operations for Forward Lawrence, joined the organization in July 2021.
Overby holds a Bachelor of Science degree in media communications and a Master of Arts degree in public relations from Full Sail University.
In 2022, Overby finished 96 hours of nonprofit management training to receive her Institute for Organization Management certification through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
While Overby’s primary role at Forward Lawrence is to oversee daily chamber operations including membership, events, a bimonthly newsletter and social media marketing, she is committed to increasing engagement with young adults in the county and has grown participation in both Leadership Lawrence County and the Forward Lawrence Young Professionals group. She also recently completed the Leadership Butler County program.
Overby and her husband, Wes, live in Slippery Rock. Together, they enjoy traveling, spending time with family and raising their 1-year old daughter, Junie.
