WARREN, Ohio – The Trumbull County Planning Commission recently recognized the Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Women’s Therapeutic Docket and Judge Cynthia Westcott as the April recipients of its Something Good Initiative.

The Women’s Therapeutic Docket was created to address the unique needs of women in the criminal justice system by providing structured support, accountability and access to treatment services.

Under Westcott’s leadership, the program has helped participants rebuild their lives, strengthen their families and achieve lasting recovery. Through compassion, accountability and strong community partnerships, the docket has positively impacted many individuals who have successfully completed the program.

Westcott brings decades of legal and judicial experience to her role, reflecting a lifelong commitment to justice and public service.

The Women’s Therapeutic Docket serves as a model for innovative, problem-solving courts, demonstrating how treatment and accountability can work together to strengthen individuals and the community.
