NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster College is partnering with Pennsylvania CareerLink to offer a free workshop to help high school juniors and seniors navigate their futures after graduation.
The event will take place at 5 p.m. April 8 in the Witherspoon Rooms of McKelvey Campus Center on Westminster’s campus.
The “Beyond Graduation: Exploring Your Path Forward” workshop will provide students with insights and resources as they explore post-graduation opportunities. The evening will highlight the various options students have upon graduation and how they can decide what route is best for them.
Students will have the opportunity to engage in numerous discussions about career paths and explore post-high school options, including college and community college paths, trade school, military service, on-the-job training, entrepreneurship and service programs. They will learn about Pennsylvania CareerLink’s work experience and internship opportunities while exploring personal strategies for success and readiness for the next steps after high school through case study explorations.
The evening will feature a panel of professionals from diverse career fields who will provide first-hand insights and answer questions during a question-and-answer session.
Check-in for participating students will begin at 4:30 p.m., and dinner is included. Students will receive a $25 gift card for participating in the event.
Though the workshop is free, registration is required HERE by March 31.
