YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – An industrial building that is part of the Brilex manufacturing complex at 1201 Crescent St. in the city’s Riverbend District has sold for more than $2.8 million.
Records from the Mahoning County Auditor’s Office show that Fairview Resources Inc. acquired the 105,250-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse building and an accompanying 5.9 acres from Stoney Ridge Development Corp. for $2.88 million.
The transaction was recorded March 30, according to the auditor’s records.
Portions of the building date to 1908, auditor’s data show, while other sections were added in 1967, 2005 and 2007. Stoney Ridge acquired the site from General Combustion Corp. in 1999 for $450,000, according to records.
