YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A building that houses a light manufacturing and precision machining operation in the Salt Springs Road business park has sold for $1.5 million, according to records from the Mahoning County Auditor’s Office.
Sky City LLC, which gives an address based in Birmingham, Ala., purchased the building and 3.7 acres at 2750 Intertech Drive on March 3, records show. The building is home to AccuForm Precision LLC.
The Birmingham address matches that of Ligon Industries LLC, which acquired AccuForm in March 2025. AccuForm was incorporated into Ligon’s V-Process Aluminum Foundry Group as a separate entity, according to a press release issued last year.
Records show that AccuForm – then locally owned – acquired property at the Salt Springs Road park in 2001 and constructed a new building at the site. The building and land are appraised at $830,950.
“AccuForm Precision LLC is recognized for its creativity and innovation in fixture design and tool development, allowing them to machine intricate geometries, thin sections, and tight tolerances that are critical to quality and beyond the capabilities of many manufacturing companies,” Ligon Industries said in a statement in 2025. “These specialized capabilities align exceptionally well with V-process castings, further strengthening our ability to serve customers with high-precision machining solutions.”
According to its website, Ligon is the largest independent manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders in North America, a major supplier of aluminum castings, and a major southeastern manufacturer of aluminum products for the wastewater treatment and commercial construction industries.
Ligon operates 15 plants across eight states and employs more than 1,700 people, according to its website.
