YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Press Club is seeking applications for $4,000 scholarships it will award this year.
The scholarships will go to college juniors or seniors who are majoring in journalism or a related field, including communication, broadcasting, marketing, advertising and public relations.
Scholarship recipients must live in Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Mercer or Lawrence counties, but they can be attending college elsewhere.
Applicants must submit proof of a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, be entering their junior or senior year in the 2025-26 academic year and submit at least two writing or broadcast samples.
Applicants should commit to attend the Youngstown Press Club’s Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet on Sept. 24 at Stambaugh Auditorium.
