YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The city will host a public meeting Tuesday to provide information about its Long-Term Control Plan and related sewer infrastructure improvements.
The meeting, which is open to residents, business owners, property owners and other interested community members, will begin at 5 p.m. in the Community Room at the Covelli Centre, 229 E. Front St.
The presentation will provide an overview of the Long-Term Control Plan, including current and upcoming improvements aimed at reducing sewer overflows, increasing treatment capacity and supporting long-term water quality goals.
Updates also will be provided on the Mill Creek sewer project and the CSO 6057 wet weather project. The presentation will cover anticipated construction and community impacts, project benefits, funding considerations and future opportunities for public engagement.
After the presentation, attendees can review informational boards and speak with project representatives about construction impacts, project benefits and funding.
