YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce have finalized an affiliation agreement, expanding programming, advocacy and member services in Columbiana while preserving local governance.

Under the agreement, approved by the boards of directors of both organizations, the Columbiana Chamber retains control of its policy, budget and long-term direction. The affiliation also provides Regional Chamber staff support to the Columbiana Chamber.

Through the affiliation, Columbiana Chamber members have access to programs targeting micro businesses (those with 10 or fewer employees), as well as government affairs infrastructure for regional, state and national policy issues, while the Columbiana Chamber board continues to identify and direct local advocacy priorities.

Expanded programming and advocacy efforts are planned in 2026, including a Salute to Elected Officials in Columbiana, Good Evening, Columbiana!, a Power Lunch and a Mahoning Valley Young Professionals mixer.

Established programs, including Safety Council, Columbiana Connect and the annual Harvey Awards, will continue with logistical and professional event support from the Regional Chamber.

“For our members, this affiliation keeps decision-making local while adding resources, stronger connections and capacity to serve the business community,” said Zach King, executive director of the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce. “It allows us to deliver more value for businesses across the Columbiana area.”

Columbiana Chamber members also gain access to:

  • Potential supply chain and procurement opportunities.
  • Health care options, workers’ compensation discounts and pre-employment screening services.
  • Job promotion through JobsNow on WKBN-TV 27.
  • Savings on shipping, payroll, office supplies and energy costs.

“We’re proud to partner with the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce in a way that strengthens both organizations,” said Guy Coviello, president and CEO of the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber. “The affiliation expands programming and advocacy and opens the door to new connections, including supply chain and procurement opportunities for Columbiana Chamber members.”

The affiliation took effect in January. The Columbiana Chamber joins Regional Chamber affiliates, including Mahoning Valley Young Professionals, the Warren Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Foundation, Warren Area Chamber of Commerce Education, Civic & Cultural Foundation and Lake to River Holding Co.
