YSU Hosts Accounting and Auditing Update Dec. 9, 10
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Williamson College of Business Administration will host its Accounting and Auditing Update from 8:30 a.m. to noon Dec. 9 and 10.
The course covers relevant pronouncements, exposure drafts, and other guidance recently issued in the accounting, auditing, review, compilation and preparation engagement arenas, including recently issued FASB, PCAOB, ARSC and ASB standards and guidance.
The course is eligible for eight hours of continuing education for both Ohio and Pennsylvania.
The seminar will be held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic. Registration, which costs $199 per person, is available HERE.
The course is led by Mike Hamilton a former audit partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for American electric and natural gas clients. In 2003, he became a senior managing director at FTI Consulting and in 2007 became CEO of MMC Energy Inc.
Hamilton is a certified public accountant, licensed in California, the District of Columbia, New Jersey and New York. He is accredited in business valuation, certified in financial forensics, certified in enterprise and intangible valuation and is a chartered global management accountant – all by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
