YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – LeeAnn Harsha, a Youngstown State University senior marketing major, and James Delisio, a junior business administration major, were on two of the 14 best teams out of 1,118 teams in the 2024 X-Culture Project.

Harsha, of Lisbon, was part of the My Better Batch Team, and Delisio, of Canfield, was part of the Vivavoce Team. Global teams with students from 135 universities and 32 countries completed projects for various business organizations.

“The X-Culture program and online team was a great experience,” Harsha said. “I enjoyed working with my team members on international collaboration and creating a successful project that allowed me to highlight my study area.”

Members of all finalist teams received Best Team certificates and were invited to the upcoming X-Culture Symposium, which will be held in Finland this summer.

Business students in the Principles of International Business course have participated in X-Culture since 2018. X-Culture is a global project that immerses students and professionals in real-world, cross-cultural collaboration. The hands-on business experience strengthens resumes, making participants more competitive in the worldwide job market.
