YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown State University will host an America 250 lecture in partnership with the Center for Judaic and Holocaust Studies at 5 p.m. April 14 in Room 132 of DeBartolo Hall.

Andrew Porwancher, professor of history at Arizona State University and author of “The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton,” will present a lecture titled “Was Alexander Hamilton Jewish?”

The talk will explore the religious and cultural influences surrounding Hamilton, offering new perspectives on his background and the broader historical context of early America.

The event is free and open to the public.
