YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The ISAC-X Student Showcase will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday in McKay Auditorium in Beeghly Hall on the campus of Youngstown State University.
The event, presented by YSU, in partnership with the National Science Foundation, will celebrate the creativity, innovation and hard work of local students.
Throughout the school year, sixth grade students from Potential Development and the Rich Center for Autism have participated in a computing program supported by the National Science Foundation. As part of this initiative, students have developed coding skills through hands-on activities, demonstrating both technical ability and creative expression.
The showcase event will give students the opportunity to present their projects to peers, families, educators and community members. Attendees will be able to engage with students, explore their work and celebrate their accomplishments.
“We are incredibly proud of the dedication and creativity these students have shown,” event organizers said in a news release. “This showcase highlights not only their technical growth but also their imagination and teamwork.”
Parking will be available in the M70 parking lot, adjacent to McDonald’s.
