CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Banc Corp. recently appointed Andrew Ziegler as the northeast Ohio regional president.

Ziegler has nearly two decades of experience in commercial banking and joined Farmers in 2024. Throughout his career, he has cultivated relationships with businesses and communities across the region, drawing on experience gained through leadership roles with leading regional and national financial institutions.

“We’re thrilled to have Andy leading our efforts in northeast Ohio,” said Todd Simko, senior executive vice president and chief banking officer for Farmers. “He understands this market and knows what it takes to build lasting relationships. His leadership will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow our presence and deepen our commitment to clients across northeast Ohio.”

In his new role, Ziegler will provide strategic leadership across the region, leveraging Farmers’ expanded retail and lending footprint following the integration of Middlefield Bank to drive growth and strengthen the bank’s presence.

“I am honored to serve as regional president and to have the opportunity to lead Farmers in a region that has been home to me for much of my career,” Ziegler said. “Farmers understands the importance of relationships and has a genuine commitment to helping local businesses, and I am excited to build on that strong foundation to bring our capabilities and resources to even more clients across northeast Ohio.”

Ziegler serves on the boards of Twi, the Stark State College Foundation and the Buckeye Scouting Council. He also serves as treasurer on the executive board of the Akron Symphony Orchestra. He is actively involved with local chambers of commerce through events and presentations, and he is a volunteer with Leadership Stark County.
