VIENNA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Mahoning Valley Economic Development Corp. honored Huntington Bank this morning as its most active lender and awarded the bank its Perpetual Plaque. The bank gets to keep the plaque for a year.

The award was presented at the MVEDC’s annual “Lenders’ Appreciation Breakfast,” held at the Avalon Golf & Country club Squaw Creek.

Huntington’s Dave Howard, vice president business banking and MVEDC’s “Lender of the Year,” accepted the first award for working with the economic development agency to review the most applications.
Josh Toot, another Huntington vice president for business banking accepted the perpetual plaque for Huntington issuing the most loans – seven – to companies that MVEDC serves.

Eight banks participate in loan programs administered by the agency, MVEDC Executive Director Mike Conway said.
