What has changed and why?
We’re inviting our audience to choose their level of access to our content. Our goal is to create a unified experience across our many platforms including the website, the mobile app, the print edition and our email newsletters.
On July 28, 2021, the Youngstown Publishing Co. upgraded its website, BusinessJournalDaily.com, to a digital subscription-based site.
As a trusted source for business and community news and information in the five-county region and beyond, our team of reporters, videographers and editors work very hard to bring you the most informative and in-depth reporting you need. This takes sustained financial investment and the work of committed professionals.
The Business Journal continues to evolve to bring you the news that matters most to you. While we are known for our extensive coverage of the regional business community, we have also expanded our scope to include entertainment, arts and lifestyle, sports and community news.
Our subscribers recognize the value of having reliable, trustworthy reporters who live and work in these communities covering local news, as well as having a locally owned, independent publisher producing the stories that interest our residents the most.
In short, local independent journalism matters. And online subscriptions help keep that going.
What do I get if I subscribe?
Once you go for one of the premium subscriptions, you get unlimited access to all of our online content. That includes every single article and video we post daily, as well as our eEdition flipbook of our print edition.
Unregistered users can access Online Exclusives, like our Daily Buzz webcast and 3 Minutes With interviews, as well as Workforce Development content, such as Brain Gain, Business Strategies Video Network and webinars. But that’s about it. None of our daily news posts or featured articles will be available to you.
Got it. So how do I get access?
Existing paid subscribers are entitled to receive free, unlimited access to our website and all digital content with registration. If you have received your registration login, click HERE to login with your username and password for complete online access.
If you are a long-standing print subscriber and need your login information, contact our office at 330.744.5023 or by emailing [email protected].
Sometimes when I click a story link from the email, the website says I need to register. Why?
Don’t panic. If you’ve already registered on our website, your login information is still there. As with any website that has a login feature, however, it’s going to automatically log you out from time to time. It even happens to us, and we work here!
If you hit that wall when you try opening a story, just click the Login link in the upper right corner of the website, enter your login info, and you should be all set.
I can’t remember my password.
Happens to the best of us. Go to the Login link in the upper right corner of the website and click “Lost Password?” You’ll be asked to enter your email address to get a new password sent to you.
I tried all of that and I’m still having trouble.
