$11M Senior Living Project Slated for Liberty Township

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Plans are underway to give seniors here a new place to call home in their later years.

About an $11 million project will be built by Pivotal Housing Partners LLC, which purchased the property under the name Liberty Lofts LLC.

“We’re excited to be starting construction on a senior independent living facility,” said Pete Schwiegeraht, senior vice president of development – Midwest for Pivotal Housing Partners. “It will be known as Liberty Senior Lofts on Belmont Avenue in Liberty Township.”

A mix of one- and two-bedroom units, the facility will have 43 apartments on three floors with elevator access. The units will include amenities such as laundry and walk-in closets.

The green, highly energy efficient building will feature a community room, a fitness center and a business center, as well as outdoor amenities such as a picnic shelter and walking area. Onsite management will care for the facility.

Anticipated to take 15 months to build, Schwiegeraht hopes the project will be completed and ready for residents in spring 2024.

The facility will be age restricted for those age 55 and older.

“Our goal is to house seniors who lived in Liberty all their lives and give them a place to age in place,” Schwiegeraht said.

The 3.72-acre property was part of a larger parcel just north of Naylor Lloyd Road at 5350 Belmont Ave. The currently vacant land is located north of state Route 304 and south of Tibbett’s-Wick Road. It was sold Friday for just under $300,000 in a deal brokered by Alan Friedkin from Burgan Friedkin Commercial Group Real Estate.

More information on the project will be made available on Pivotal Housing Partners LLC’s website. Formerly known as MVAH Partners LLC, Pivotal Housing Partners is an Ohio-based company that manages more than 9,000 units in 15 states.
