ODOT Plans 18 Road Projects in the Valley in 2022

CANFIELD, Ohio — Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced the launch of the Ohio Department of Transportation’s 2022 construction season.

This year, Ohio is investing nearly $2 billion on 829 projects across the state. $40 million of that will go towards 18 projects scheduled between Mahoning and Trumbull county.

“The biggest takeaway is it’s a lot of keeping what we have currently in place; extending the life of that,” says Ray Marsch, public information officer for ODOT District 4. “So it’s the resurfacing the pavement repairs; making sure we’re getting the full life of all of these roads here.”
