200+ HS Students Hear From Women in STEM

WARREN, Ohio – More than 200 area female high school students attended Kent State University Trumbull’s STEM Trumbull County conference Friday.

The conference began more than 15 years ago as a way for young ladies to learn about science, engineering and technology and medical careers.

Keynote speaker Peggy Shadduck, dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies, spoke about current and future STEM career opportunities young women have.
