9/11 Memorial Ceremony on 22nd Anniversary
AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A ceremony took place at the Mahoning Valley 9/11 Memorial Park on Monday, the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
The park features steel from the twin towers in New York, stone from the Pentagon and soil from the crash site in Shanksville, Pa.
“People have come from all over the country who were impacted by 9/11 that maybe had lost a family member,” says Jim Davis, co-chairman of the 9/11 committee.
