Trumbull United Way Seeks ‘2nd Semester’ Supplies
WARREN, Ohio – O’Reilly Auto Parts stores and Great Clips salons in Trumbull County are collecting new school supplies for students in the county. The Second Semester School Supply Drive began Monday and will continue through Feb. 15.
By this point in the school year, students often run low on the supplies, the agency said. All supplies collected will be distributed to United Way of Trumbull County’s partner agencies that serve students.
The following school supplies are requested: pencils, lined notebook paper, 3-ring binders, spiral notebooks, highlighters and markers, folders, crayons and glue sticks.
“The O’Reilly group is proud to sponsor this drive. We do this because we want to give as much as possible to the young people in our community. Our children are our future,” says Jim Portale, district manager.
Supplies are being collected at the seven Trumbull O’Reilly Auto Parts locations in Trumbull County as well as three Great Clips locations. Great Clips also raised funds last fall that the United Way of Trumbull County will use to purchase school supplies.
“We appreciate the continued support of O’Reilly Auto Parts and welcome the new partnership with Great Clips. This is a great example of how by working together, we can have an impact,” said Ginny Pasha, president of United Way of Trumbull County.
