Technology Allows 717 Credit Union to Open Branches in Smaller Spaces

WARREN, Ohio — The new 717 Credit Union branch downtown, located at 157 West Market St., has a smaller footprint than other traditional branches, but offers account and loan openings, a traditional teller line, consultative services and a personal teller machine for routine transactions.

“This is kind of the way our branches are going to be going. More of a smaller branch because you do have the technology that allows you to have less space,” says Mark Munno, senior vice president of delivery channels for 717 Credit Union.

Munno says the cost of renovating the space and installing new technology was came in at over $500,000.

The credit union opened its newest branch downtown on Courthouse Square Monday. You can read more in Ashley Fox’s story by clicking HERE.
