717 Credit Union’s Bercheni to Speak at KSU at Trumbull Ceremony

WARREN, Ohio – Sherri Bercheni, vice president of remote delivery for 717 Credit Union, will deliver the keynote address at Kent State University at Trumbull’s 2023 spring commencement.

More than 300 students and family members are expected to attend the ceremony, which will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at Packard Music Hall.

Bercheni graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1994 before earning a political science degree and a finance minor from Youngstown State University. She later obtained certification in diversity and inclusion through Cornell University. 

She recently joined the Kent State at Trumbull Advisory Board and also serves as an Inspiring Minds board member.

“In her relatively short time on our advisory board, she has contributed invaluable insight into our community and how to serve our youth best,” said Bill Ayres, dean and chief administrative officer at Kent State at Trumbull. “Her accomplishments and ambition to empower others reflect our mission to transform lives by providing access and opportunity.”
