717 Opening Branch in Downtown Warren

WARREN, Ohio – 717 Credit Union will open a new branch in downtown Warren later this year.

The branch, 157 W. Market Street, will be in the space between the offices of the Raymond John Wean Foundation and All American Cards & Comics. With a smaller footprint than most 717 branches, the site will offer account and loan openings, consultative services and a personal teller machine for routine transactions.

“There’s a lot of great things happening in the area and we’re excited to be a part of them while simultaneously supporting fellow businesses,” said President and CEO Gary Soukenik said in a statement. “Additionally, this new location will provide an opportunity for the underbanked. As financial institutions have pulled out of downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods, it has become challenging for many to meet their financial needs.”

717 Credit Union has 94,000 members and 12 offices, making it the largest credit union in northeastern Ohio. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Portage, Summit or central Stark counties.
