Aim Transportation Buys McCoy NationaLease Indy Operations

GIRARD, Ohio – Aim Transportation Solutions has acquired McCoy NationaLease’s truck leasing and rental operations in Indianapolis.

Terms were not disclosed.

Aim is the largest privately-owned truck leasing company in North America; it provides commercial truck leasing, rental, maintenance and dedicated contract carriage.

McCoy NationaLease is a unit of the McCoy Group, a family business founded in 1958 and based in Wisconsin.

Aim is acquiring McCoy’s Indianapolis operation only, which will become Aim’s second location in that metro area, according to an announcement of the acquisition.

Aim will “temporarily” operate the McCoy site at 1631 W. Thompson Road as well as Aim’s office and termnal in Indianapolis, 8810 Americana Blvd.

“We are excited to welcome the McCoy Indy employees to Aim and we are looking forward to serving our new customers in Indianapolis with the dedicated and consistent level of fleet care that’s come to be associated with the Aim brand,” said Aim Co-President Geoff Fleming.

“We’re no strangers to the Indianapolis market, as we have a facility in the
northern part of the city already. Our expanded footprint will give us opportunities to better serve and support new and existing customers,” he added.

Aim is part of the NationaLease truck network that is comprised of more than 140 independent businesses, with a combined fleet of over 165,000 tractors, trucks and trailers at more than 900 locations in the United States and Canada.
