Students Get a Glimpse at STEM Careers
WARREN, Ohio – The Early Innovators Academy at Trumbull Career & Technical Center is a career exploration program for freshmen and sophomores that gives students a glimpse at STEM careers.
The program opened in fall 2022 to 50 ninth-graders selected from a lottery of applicants. They moved to 10th grade this fall, and now 50 new freshmen have started in the program.
“We focus on engineering, manufacturing, biomedical and a lot of other things as well,” says Cara DeToro, TCTC academic supervisor.
