NEOMED to Launch Public Phase of Capital Campaign
ROOTSTOWN, Ohio — Northeast Ohio Medical University will launch the public phase of its largest and most comprehensive fundraising effort at an event today.
“Shine On: The Campaign for Northeast Ohio Medical University” has a $40 million goal. Funds raised during the quiet phase of the campaign will be disclosed at today’s event, which will be held at the NEOMED Education and Wellness Center.
Shine On has three major campaign priorities – Advancing Students, Advancing Innovation and Research, and Advancing Community Health, according to the medical university.
The noon ceremony will feature speakers including Elizabeth Looney, a fourth-year medicine student at NEOMED and a member of the inaugural class of the NEOMED-Cleveland State University Partnership for Urban Health.
