Is your business back to normal?
Sales and the basics of operations have been back to normal since about last November. The way we work together and interact is and probably will be altered for a while.
What is your “new normal?”
Inside our offices and shop we keep six feet of distance whenever possible and wear masks when we can’t or need to communicate directly with someone. We pause at least twice a day to sanitize most commonly shared machines, carts and other tools. We don’t require customers to sign for pick ups and have far less direct interaction when they pick up orders. Their products are ready for them in a designated area to pick up themselves or we carry them out to them.
How do you Rally Around Small Business and support the business community?
We’ve always tried to use local, regional or at least U.S. based small companies to source material and supplies. From boxes and packaging supplies to the small hardware for our display cases to services like tool sharpening, outsourced work like vacuum forming and even the bagging of our hardware packages by our West Rayen Avenue neighbors at Gateways for Better Living.
