Farmers Bank to Install Interactive Teller Machine in Boardman
CANFIELD, Ohio – Farmers National Bank is opening a new Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) at 7334 Market St., near the intersection of U.S. Route 224 and Market Street in Boardman.
The new drive-up ITM is in the parking lot in the southwest quadrant of the intersection, between Men’s Warehouse and Arby’s. It gives customers the ability to talk with a teller, who is housed in Niles, via video call, allowing transactions to be done in real time. Customers can also use the machine as a typical ATM.
Video tellers can assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, transfers and payments. They are available during regular bank operating hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Farmers is proud to be bringing the latest emerging technology in banking to a robust location in Boardman,” said Kevin Helmick, president and CEO of the bank, in a news release. “This project has been in the mix for a while now and we couldn’t be more excited for it to get underway.”
Farmers National Bank, headquartered in Canfield, has 41 locations in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Stark, Wayne, Medina, Geauga and Cuyahoga Counties in Ohio and Beaver County in Pennsylvania.
