Women in Business: Lisa Walters

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Lisa Walters is the owner and vice president of Westside Tire & Service in Austintown. She has more than 43 years of experience in the automotive industry.

Lisa graduated from Penn State University with a degree in business administration. She is a strong advocate for women, not just with her volunteer activities in the community but also within the automotive industry.

Lisa sits on the advisory board of the Automotive Parts Distributor Council. She is a member of the Automotive Training Institute and instituted the “AskPatty” program at Westside Tire, which certifies the company is “female friendly,” she says. “We feature car care clinics for women, sponsor benefit car shows and donate to community organizations.”

Lisa and Westside Tire also sponsor an upcoming Women United event, July 28, as part of their ongoing support of United Way.

Westside Tire is a member of the Youngstown/Warren Chamber and the Better Business Bureau. In 2019, the BBB awarded the company its Torch Award for Marketplace Trust.
