Avalon Holdings Reports 2Q Income of $16.4M
WARREN, Ohio – Avalon Holdings Corp. reports second-quarter net operating revenue of $16.4 million, a 25.2% increase from a year ago.
Net income per share was 19 cents, up from the 11-cent loss seen in the second quarter of 2020.
For the first six months of 2021, net operating revenues were $31.5 million compared with $27.5 million for the same period last year. Basic net income per share attributable to common shareholders was 37 cents, compared with a basic net loss per share of 32 cents in the first six months of 2020.
Avalon Holdings provides waste management services to industrial, commercial, municipal and government customers, captive landfill management and salwater injection well operations. It also operates Avalon Resorts and Clubs Inc., which includes the operation of The Grand Hotel in Howland, four golf courses and a recreation center.
