County Awards $300,000 to Fairgrounds to Construct Restroom
CANFIELD, Ohio – The Mahoning County commissioners Thursday awarded $300,000 in American Rescue Plan funds to the Canfield Fairgrounds to construct a restroom facility at its new Event Center.
This building, constructed in 2020, is primarily used as an educational center and serves youths from throughout the county.
The building will also be used for future emergency gathering sites, such as vaccination clinics, according to the board of directors of the Mahoning County Agricultural Society, the governing body for the Canfield Fair.
