Culinary Arts Restaurant to Reopen as Aqua Pazzo
BOARDMAN, Ohio – The former Culinary Arts restaurant here is undergoing a transition – or, as chef Mark Canzonetta boasts, an “amazing journey” – and soon will reopen as Aqua Pazzo.
The new name, a variation on the spelling of acqua pazza, comes from a term used in Italian cuisine that essentially means poached fish.
An email promoting the transition – “bringing Rome to Boardman” — was received Monday. The new restaurant is also described as a “modern Italian restaurant” and “osteria.”
“Mark Canzonetta pays homage to Rome, and the rest of Italy with delectable dishes that capture the true essence of its native land,” the promotion states.
When the Culinary Arts Restaurant closed March 19, it was explained that a new concept restaurant would follow at the site, 492 McClurg Road.
No date was given for the reopening.
