Killy’s Kauldron Expands, Bella C’s Opens in Salem
SALEM, Ohio — One locally owned business is expanding while another is opening its doors today inside historic Courtyard Square on East State Street today.
Killy’s Kauldron is hosting its grand re-opening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as it moves into a larger space inside Courtyard Square at 645 E. State St.
At the same time, Bella C’s Creations, is celebrating its grand opening in Suite 12L. Owner Jocelyn Trieff sells anything from apparel, tumblers, home decor and more, according to a press release.
“Everything in my store and on my website is handmade by me, and all designs are hand drawn as well,” Trieff said.
The shop’s hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Courtney Bosworth and her mother, Toña Warneke, own and operate Killy’s Kauldron, which was named after Bosworth’s son, Killian. The shop specializes in hand-crafted crystal and herb-infused soy candles, which are created in the store.
“In addition to our own creations, we also carry a wide variety of crystals, herbs, essential oils, books and tarot cards,” Bosworth said in a release. “We also have items on consignment from other local crafters, such as handmade jewelry and crocheted dolls.”
On Saturday, the shop is also organizing its monthly Small Business & Artisan Market, which is held inside Courtyard Square on the second Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Killy’s hosts the event with thanks to Courtyard Square owners Scott and Lisa Cahill for use of the Courtyard space at no cost to the vendors.
The Cahills have been renovating Courtyard Square since 2013.
This month’s event features local author Robert Greier, spiritualist minister and medium Brandee Todd, a number of local artists and vendors, including:

Killy’s is open Tuesday to Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
