McGovern to Perform at ‘Valley of the Divas’
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Grammy award winner and Mahoning Valley native Maureen McGovern will headline “Valley of the Divas” April 16 at the DeYor Performing Arts Center.
The event, a fundraiser for CreativeBridge Coalition, will showcase female vocalists associated with the Valley.
Other performers will include Sugar Joans, semi-finalist during the 2014 season of The Voice, Maureen Collins, LeeAnn Binder, Janis Jones and Sarah Turner. A catered meet-and-greet will follow the performance.
All proceeds from the event, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will go to CreativeBridge Coalition’s efforts to support and expand local music-based educational programing for young children and those with special needs
