Boardman Chiropractor Practice ‘Embraces’ Community
BOARDMAN, Ohio — Drs. Stevie Iorio and Jared Morgan belong to a local network comprised of other local small businesses. So when they opened Embrace Chiropractic, they made sure to attend other grand openings and events to support other business owners.
“The biggest thing is so we can engage with small businesses in the area and support them,” Morgan said. “We know that opening a small business is tough. Showing that support will help the community grow.”
That support was returned to them Thursday as local small-business owners joined Iorio and Morgan, as well as their friends and family, in celebrating the official ribbon-cutting of their chiropractic clinic at 813 Boardman-Poland Road.
“It felt good. It makes us feel welcome,” Iorio said.
Even the décor, including posters of the human spine and body on walls throughout the office, were all purchased from local businesses, she said. One such rendering is of an Integrator, a chiropractic adjusting instrument developed for the Torque Release Technique, which Iorio and Morgan specialize in. Morgan said the tool is great to help aid patients who meet the criteria to benefit from its precision and quick performance.
The doctors met while attending Palmer School of Chiropractic in Florida. Iorio is from New Castle, while Morgan grew up in Beckley, West Virgina. It was after each experienced life-changing results through chiropractic care that they decided to serve their communities by pursuing careers in the industry. They moved to the Mahoning Valley to be closer to family.
While the opening of Embrace Chiropractic was originally slated for May of 2021, it was delayed. In the meantime, Iorio and Morgan got to know the community, finding causes and making contacts with other business owners.
The office wouldn’t be possible without the help of their “amazing” landlord and a business loan, they said.
“The biggest goal we had was to create this space,” Morgan said. “We’re looking to be here for at least five years. We wanted to make sure we’d build this space out not only to see people in year one, but grow and help as many people as possible, give them a place they can go for hope and healing.”
Within the next month, they are looking to hire for a front desk position.
“We’re ready to serve the area, whether that means individuals, families, pregnant women, athletes,” Morgan said. “We’re here to serve and help everyone we can live a healthy lifestyle.”
Embrace Chiropractic is open 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Visit EmbraceBoardman.com to learn more.
