Want to Work with Intel?
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber members can get their construction or business services on the ground floor of the $20 billion Intel project.
Last month, Intel announced plans to build a $20 billion semiconductor manufacturing campus outside of Columbus. The chamber, in partnership with JobsOhio, TeamNEO and other Ohio economic development organizations, is keeping its membership informed of opportunities with Intel as it becomes available.
Members interested in providing construction-related services or other business services can visit Intel.com/content/www/us/en/corporate-responsibility/intel-in-ohio.html for more information.
The $20 billion investment is the single largest private sector project in Ohio history. The operation would initially employ 3,000 and use more than 7,000 tradesmen to construct the complex. Moreover, the project could translate into tens of thousands of jobs through supply networks, service providers and other vendors across the state.
Local business and political leaders also say the project could present supply chain, customer and service opportunities throughout the Mahoning Valley.
